Oh my dear weather

Weather has been erratic..don't ya think so? This is the time when I would miss my Hall 15 room so much! Cant imagine that I am still up at this hour since I've got to work tomorrow morning. It's been like 1 and a half months of my internship and I must say I am loving every bit of it! I am looking forward to meeting some Getsunian fellows this Wednesday for early supper..and gonna anticipate some M'sian friends' arrivals next month. I'd be having more shopping partners then. When is it going to rain again?

early rising days

My habit has been weird lately - turning in as early as 10am and wake up as early as 4-5am. I am suprised that I actually feel more energetic after this. I just finished my 3rd paper and it was okay. I just hope it could mitigate my bad grades for my midterm.
There are only 2 papers left and fortunately I have about a week to prepare. Tomorrow will definitely be an exciting day and I'd say if I succeed this, it would one of my happiest moments in my life.

my best and worst part-time jobs @NTU so far

Best
1) ALC - Admin, pay may be low but this is the only job I could just study on my own and do nothing at the office.
2) CATI Telephone Interviewing - a challenging one because it's an incentive-based job. With basic of $6.50/hr and $1 for each survey, one could easily earn up to $10/hour.

Worst
1) Graduate Studies Office - all about filing according to alphabetical order, or search for files around the office..eww..
2) LWN Patrol - somewhat intimidating. I was supposed to check for hogged seats at the library and confiscate their belongings if they are away for a period of time
3) ITTO - Data-entry...eww..glad it's ended

Nonetheless, I am still glad that I had the chance to learn and get to know some people@work. They are ALL friendly. I haven't bumped into any baddie yet.

the flu day

Influenza alert! Had a pathetic day because of the following reasons :
a) virus came and attack me so I am having flu now
b) my cough still hasn't died down
c) got Hall 7 (a hall with no canteen) for my vacation period
d) feeling sleepy all the time
e) big crazy cravings
f) the sucky weather
g) went for a lecture and practically gained no information about my final exam
h) overdose on strepsils

I almost gonna die due to the excessively hot weather but I am having flu, should I switch on the air-cond?

the scorching hot weather

Tuesday has always been my air-cond day, as I’ll be stuck in ALC office til late night, doing whatever I like. Thanks to the hot weather, that I am here much earlier today. Weather report says there would be scattered thunderstorm starting yesterday for 10 days but I saw no rain at all! So I cant trust these forecasters anymore. I pray hard it’ll rain heavily tonight so that I can save some aircond fee! HAH!

Can’t wait to know which hall I would be in during my vacation!
